The promise that sunshine and summer will arrive: Done
The promise of a short but oh so sweet 75 mile motorcycle ride to soak in that sun, and this view: Done!
The promise of getting back on the bicycle and completing 22 miles (after not having ridden more than 8 in years): Done!
The promise of a meaningful Memorial Day Service: Done!
The promise to visit all of you: Unfulfilled … Yet!
The Fullness of MayΒ is over, and it’s time to play catch up! Β I promise π
First you have to rest your legs from that 22 mile ride before visiting us Laurie π Beautiful shots.
Joe, I was so surprised that my legs were not sore. Lucky ride, i guess. Off to visit your blog(s)!
I’m glad you were able to ride both bikes, Laurie. I was so busy, I never got a chance to get on the bicycle and now it’s raining again! Oh well, there are more sunny days to come that we can both ride.
Yes, many more sunny days ahead! I actually went out and bought a new helmet yesterday. I’m committed to getting back out at least once a week. I’ll just have to go from the bicycle to the motorcycle. Hope off one, get on the other π
Hope you get out and ride soon!
Off to visit your blog now
Oh how wonderful to finally have that sunshine back and to be able to enjoy your pictures again.
Karen, you are always so supportive of my photography. Let’s hope I get some good ones in 3 weeks!! π
Fantastic Laurie!
It really was fun to be on both bikes! Now to catch up on blogs. Off to your place!
Delightful. Thanks for the first of the morning big smile.
Thanks, Alys, and your post this morning was lovely, too! Trying to catch up this evening π
Thank you, Laurie! Love and hugs dear one.
Nice bike(s)! 22 miles after an eight year break from cycling? Respect. BTW how are your legs?
I was pleasantly surprised to find that I had no soreness! I do try to power walk and live in a very hilly area so maybe that helped. I’m going to try to get on the bicycle more and somehow not sacrifice time on the motorcycle. Hmmmm … we shall see!
The views are beautiful! Keep on riding and trucking π xoxo
I’m working on it, Pauline! I’m determined to get some exercise on the bicycle and still find time for the bike. We shall see …
Happy summer-coming-on Laurie!
It really does seem to be here, doesn’t it? I always say that I am such a lover of all seasons, but I sure have found myself welcoming summer more than usual this year. Fun times ahead!
Are you all getting as much rain as we are? Off to visit your site and see what’s up!
It’s all looking very lovely and fulfilling!
It’s nice to have these kinds of days, for sure. I’m off to visit your blog!
I’m laughing here. At least you have your priorities straight. Delightful photos. :))
Ha! I really did reveal my priorities, didn’t I? π
Perfect, in my book . ππ
You know what they say, you never forget how to ride a bike. Trip looked beautiful and too short!
Much too short!
I’m in catch up mode here tonight, Noelle, so I’ll be wandering over to your place next π
Good luck with the catch up. And to visiting us all!
I’m getting there, Emilio! I think I’ve visited almost everyone today π
I will never get there. Good luck.
