Whether it's one simple yet somehow perfect day or a dreamed about journey finally realized, I never want to forget the joy of the moment or how fortunate I am!
It was such a cool site, Liana! The rock wall was probably 15 yards long, and I had to capture the shot with cars and trucks driving by. I wanted to stop traffic and spend more time there 🙂
What a scenic place you call home. Your warm photo echo’s of a beautiful sunset and a happy girl on a bike. You’re right, I’d more expect to see John Wayne on a horse.
Now… that is some Red Rock… cool shot !!!
The sun did amazing things to that rock, didn’t it?
Loving the light
Yes! I passed it by and just had to turn around to capture it!
So many people who don’t turn round to have a look over their shoulder …Glad you did 😀
Awesome shot and lighting LB. Isn’t it a great feeling when you nail a shot like this ? 😀
It is! Mostly, I’m glad I was going by at the right time … the sun on the rock was so beautiful!
Fantastic!
The sun did good! 🙂
looks beautiful…lighting was just right for you…
It truly was … right time, right place for sure!
Wow…I’m sitting here waiting for you to give me my breath back…

Reminds me of my days at Ft. Carson, CO. Just a short drive up north was Red Rocks…Man I loved that place.
I’d love to see it! It must be amazing!
Beautiful. I would have thought it was out west.
I agree! As many times as I have gone by those rocks, I don’t ever recall seeing them that red in color!

I’m so lucky aren’t I?
Stopping to take photos reminds me of it when I consider moving on to another place!
I
Amazing the changing of light what happens to mother nature. Keep enjoying the ride my friend.
I most definitely will! Leaving soon on a 3-4 day adventure!
What a magical place, when autumn comes even the rocks turn red. 🙂
It does seem magical! I’ve driven by those rocks several times a week for almost 2 decades and never seen them that color!! A wonderful surprise!
Spectacular! If I ever get to the USA… there’d be so much I’d love to see. K.
Yes! And we’ll all happily show you around 🙂
Brilliant! 🙂 I just need to brave sitting on an air plane for half a day…
