Whether it's one simple yet somehow perfect day or a dreamed about journey finally realized, I never want to forget the joy of the moment or how fortunate I am!
Still not much rain here in Alberta, and a terrible wildfire last week displaced the 80,000 residents of the northern city of Fort McMurray …just a horrible situation. We are expecting snow tomorrow, though, so that might help…argggghh….
Those are more ominous looking in monochrome! Awesome!
If it was a roast chicken, I have seen one too. Dolphins a few times and one that turned into a shark somehow, but Kermit? I will have what that persons drinking please π
The skies can be so dramatic at this time of year laurie – well captured!
Hello Noelle, I’m so glad to hear from you. Hope all is well with you. You’ve not been able to post lately and I hope that is because of the fullness of life, in a good way
Actually it is because of a fullness. I have been going through some sort of curious metamorphosis. Silence and disengagement has been part of it, but definitely not in a bad way. In fact, I was walking down the stairs at work the other day and realized I felt a sense of love for myself I usually feel when I’m madly in love with someone else, only the someone else is me. It’s been extraordinary and beautiful and sometimes challenging. The deeper I go the more old me I bump into and realize I’ve just outgrown those ideas. Hard to jettison some of it, but it is clearly my path.
At some point, this incubation will break and I’ll probably be talking so much people will hope I’ll stop soon!! Thank you dearly for missing me! Sending beauty and love your way, sister….

Beautiful shot Laurie π Reminds me of the Credence tune “Who’ll Stop The Rain”.
And now I’m going to have to listen to some CCR β€
Me to check out Dans post on Monochromia. Its an Omen π
By the way John Fogerty’s latest CD “I wrote a song for everyone” is great.
Spectacular! We could sure use the rain here.
Hopefully by now, you’ve had some rain. I do worry about places suffering with drought

Thank you, Marlene!
it’s that time of year – lots of excitement!
So true! Rain, sun, wind … never a dull moment!
Wow, that one shape looks like a rocket launch! There will be some roilers this summer, no doubt!
Aren’t clouds just fascinating? My friends on FB saw an eagle, a dolphin, a chicken, and Kermit the Frog π
Stunning, indeed
Thank you, Derrick
I hope you weren’t riding out in this…scary! Enjoy this weekend.
I was not riding underneath these clouds, thankfully. And yesterday, when we did ride, we flirted with the rain but stayed dry.
Wild clouds there mate π
Arenβt clouds just fascinating? I was just telling Lisa, that my friends on FB saw an eagle, a dolphin, a chicken, and Kermit the Frog:-)

Thank you, Tina. Hope all is well in your beautiful part of the East Coast
The beauty of nature, no matter it’s mood.
Absolutely! While I hate it weather causes harm, i sure do love big storms and clouds
Really curious. Each time I looked back and away from the image it was as if the clouds were moving. Spooky fun!
