I am not immune to the fact that those without power / heat, and others stranded on highways, spent time suffering. Most of us though, had an opportunity for time with family, books and games, exercise (ie shoveling), cooking, and were mostly just inconvenienced.

Great photo…but you are not on your bike in the snow right??? My husband and I, in our motorcycle days were once caught in unexpected snow..a scary experience! xo Johanna
Oh no, definitely not. That must have been a scary experience! Being on the bike in snow would require incredibly caution, skill, and drivers of cars to be paying attention. Yikes!

Sometimes what we see as not ideal can work to our benefit as in this photo!!!

I’ve been thinking of you, and other friends in the DC area. Hopefully you are getting some of the warmer temps to help melt some of the snow.

Snow and black ice add an extra dimension to the riding experience. I have tried it many times and feel that it is not a nice dimension 😀
oh my, it is not a dimension that I want to try! Yikes! I’d be down in minutes, I am quite sure!
I have had more crashes in rain than on snow, maybe I am more cautious in snow.. But if you can avoid it, then it is a good thing.

This one is gorgeous. I agree with what others have said; that it somehow seems like we are viewing the snow from the bike’s perspective, rather than looking at the bike.
