What a lucky guy!!
He rides around in this padded cart and his motorcycle drivers told us that they go nowhere without him.
I’m telling you … it was so cozy in there, I almost wanted to get in there with him and ride along!
Isn’t he a sweet old guy?
And since my camera is in the shop (no photography) and my bike is totaled (no rides- are you feeling sorry me yet π ) I’m finally posting these photos which have been in draft since September.
Wow how cool is that LB. When I had my dogs they would haver loved this. Have a great weekend π
OOPS I meant “have”.
π
You were holding it back for an opportune moment? π That looks like an expensive “GO” cart, and what a lucky dog for sure!
Sharing: When I was a teen we had a dog that loved to go with us on our boat. Whenever he spotted us packing and hooking it up to the truck he would stand there at the gate howling and stamping his front paws to make sure we didn’t forget him! Funny thing was, once we got out on the bay he’d get seasick (as did we) and then go into the little cabin, crawl in behind us, and proceed to push us off onto the floor! π
Great story, Lynda (well, except for the seasickness!).
That is so cool. I saw plenty of doggie riders in my biker chick days. I miss seeing sights like this, so thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome … he was a real sweetie!
aha! The silver lining is housekeeping! Lucky dog and lucky photographer.
Yes! I keep working on finding that silver lining π
Yes! It must be very challenging being without two of the great loves of your life! But, as Crystal says, ‘silver lining’ – and thank goodness you are okay!!
That is one gorgeous looking dog and his caravan looks pretty cool too π
Thanks so much … I am indeed lucky!
Isn’t that cart great? That guy rides in style
Hog and dog.. Seems reasonable π
Ha! Wish I’d thought of that!!
Happy Belated Thanksgiving my friend. He is one very fortunate furry friend!
Maybe he’ll let me ride around with him until I get my new bike!!
That is a sweet ride for sure. Lovely dog.
I hope you regain your equilibrium soon.
Thanks! I am doing really well … just need to get my stamina back. It is so unusual for me to lack energy … ever! It’ll come though! I am confident!
It will come! Winter is a bit of a slog on the ‘ole energy, too, so I’m sure that doesn’t help. Are you back at work full time?
lucky fellow…best seat in the house! I’m sure he loves it… π hope things are going well for you…
Posh digs for sure! But hey now, are not those eyes relentless? π I would never want to leave him at home either. He could have what ever he wanted, I am no match for that kind of golden loveliness. What? You want another cookie? Here you go pal! (I tend to mix up food with love sometimes). I like the idea of riding around with him out back there too, HA what a blast that’d be.
LB, you’ve got such a good eye for composing a photograph, you’d dazzle us with any ol’ camera. Sorry to hear yours is in the shop, maybe snag a cheap one at a drugstore just for fun. Or even a photo challenge for your friends here? We’ll send you a photo and you write the post, LOLβ¦how lazy am I getting? Sending hugs your way xK
Somehow I missed this!
I hope to have my camera back on Friday … just in time for the 9th Annual Diva Donations party at my house on Sunday (think of it as a fabulous cocktail party; a houseful of women, eating, drinking and dropping cash for charities in our home town). We’re just regular women, no one is wealthy, but every $10 or $20 adds up and we’ve donated over $15,000 in the past 8 years. And while I am putting it out there in this reply, it really is all done anonymously! No recognition of individuals … just women doing good anonymously!
By the way … I always use your “Boomdee” name in public posts … is that your preference?
π I love that! Having a great ol’ time and doing good by your community, that’s just awesome LB. Do you decide ahead of time what cocktail to serve or is it byob? I’ve always had fun at those silent auction fund raisers, they seem to be popular here. My friend Karen worked an silent auction once for school and surprisingly I was the winner on a couple of items, I was so darn excited because that hardly ever happens.
Alys nicknamed me early on and I think it’s fun to have a pseudonym, either way works for me but thanks for playing along π xK/B/Pβ¦.Ha
Thanks for the pix. Nothing sweeter than an old dog, right? Too bad about your camera and your bike, though. That’s gotta suck.
Yep BUT the camera will be out of the shop on Friday (fingers crossed) and I’ll have a new bike in the carport in the spring. Patience …
Patience is a good way to happiness.
Now my three hairy hounds would love to ride in that cart….but I have no bike to pull it with. Hope you get yours (or a new one) and your camera back as soon as possible. Each day your body and your mind will heal a little more π
I think that old guy must love that cart! and everywhere he goes, folks just dote on him. Lovely.
and yes … feeling better and better, and the old energy is returning slowly but surely!
There with him he’s not with them! LOL
