I’ve so many beach photos to work through, yet I’ve been challenged to find the time to get it done.
Rather than go much longer without posting, I thought I’d share a few random shots.
Things that drew my eye,
reminded me of summer,
and lovely times at the beach.
Thanks for visiting today! I appreciate you continuing to drop by even though I don’t post as much as I used to.
I’ll be visiting your blogs soon. If there is a post you are particularly proud of, please include the link in the comment section!
Wonderful colorful images Laurie š I love the ground level beach image and the water drops on the adirondack chair.
Thanks Joe! That first one is my fav of this set, too.
I’m glad you noticed the water drops as I had a difficult time with such a simple shot. It’s time for some new lenses!!
These are good ones!! They really capture the feel of summer (although it looks like a more relaxing summer than i know you’re really having!)
While not long enough, the time away with friends was truly wonderful. Glad you liked these images of vacation and summer
perfect beach photo’s!
Thank you, Johanna!
a beautiful array of summer color! Have to hold on to this…summer is slipping away too fast!
I’ve been seeing all my friends post photos of their kids returning to school … and I’m still mentally in July!
What a lovely summer beach collection….did the pink bag contain something yummy to eat?
Oh yes it did, Seonaid. Fresh fruit and cheese and nuts. And more yummy drink, too š
Beautifully chosen crops
Thank you, Derrick!
Beautifully captured moments of summer Laurie. It made me realise how monochromatic life becomes in winter. I hope you had a wonderful time with your GoA’s and got revived enough to attack the final trimester with energy, elan and grace! Laurie for President!! xoxo
Pauline, the time away was absolutely wonderful. Interrupted by the issues we’ve been talking about tonight, yes, but still wonderful. There’s nothing like being with friends who love you, support you, and make you laugh.
Like you š
You know, Laurie, great minds think somewhat alike.

Beautiful shots…I’d love to be on that beach…sand between my toes, taking a nap under the umbrella, adult refreshment within arm’s reach.
So glad you shared the link, Mary!
Hope you’ll be able to find some beach time soon!
Glad to see you slowed down long enough to get to chapter 4. I’m digging the umbrella shot LB, looks vintage and I’m all about hauling old stuff to the beach. Are those strawberry vines growing over the wood plank? I thought I saw this rather cryptic and poorly spelt message, LOL
Is mother nature trying to tell me something? And if so, is it “you’re a rotten speller Kelly” LOL
They were indeed strawberry vines. This was one of those quick shots that turned out so much better than I thought!
I wish I knew how to do all the creative photography / graphics stuff that you do (even if I do have to admit to not figuring out the message). I can’t wait til you tell me what it is so i can say “oh of course!!!”
Absolutely love these shots Laurie, you’ve got such a great eye! š
Elina, that means alot coming from you! Thank you!
You are most welcome Laurie! š
Laurie, all are lovely, but the little creeper in the boardwalk is my favorite this morning. BTW, I couldn’t make heads nor tails of what it was trying to say to Boomdie. But then, I have been suffering from sleep deprivation for a week… Not much makes sense to me this morning. LOL!
Lynda, I just messaged Kelly that I was stumped too! I’ll let you know what I find out š
Lovely, colorful pictures! š You ‘ve really captured that summer feeling.
Thank you! I’m off to figure out how the rest of your trip went (yes, the one you posted about weeks ago!)
What a great selection of summer images. I love the first photo – it says it all š
