The Waiting was over and the music began. A fun mix of Blue Grass and Country.
The classic combination of fiddle,
steel guitar,
mandolin,
and bass,
combined with guitar and excellent vocals,
and the evening was made for great music.
Southwest Virginia’s Crooked Road is “a place of beauty – a place of song” and all along Virginia’s Heritage Trail, musicians gather to play and celebrate the joy that is music.
Oh my toe is already tapping to the beat…just seeing these images.
That post is almost as good as being there (which would be amazing)!
Oooops – it was a bass! 🙂 Gorgeous photos Laurie!
Wonderful photos and story. Thanks for the share Laurie.
Great photos mate 🙂
Lovely photos, Laurie!
Beautiful photos!
Bluegrass is some of my favourite music, especially when it’s live. I’m crazy about mandolins.
Steel Guitar is my favourite! I bet the place was hopping. I really like the fiddle players top, the sleeves are cool. I really love the closeup photo’s where you focused on the instruments LB. Magazine worthy.
