Absolutely beautiful, lady! We ended up in a motel in Florence last night with a couple of men next door from Canada (Alberta and British Columbia) who we’re doing a big loop down into California and then East, as the whim took them. The NW coast in summer is a great place to motorcycle. The temperature is going down to 50 and up to 60-few so they appeared comfortable in full helmets and long leathers.
I am so envious of their trip, and of yours! I’ve enjoyed seeing the photos and hearing the stories!!
gorgeous. you captured the rays of light wonderfully…yes, take the time…it is all we have! 🙂
Heather! Thank you and so good to hear from you 🙂
That light is amazing! You captured it well! Is this photo as it was taken off the camera or have you edited some? Maybe HDR lol?
No HDR … just a little contrast. I was definitely in the right time / right place.
Spectacular images Laurie, the light rays are amazing 🙂
I was definitely in the right time / right place. In fact, I backed the truck up twice to get these images and barely got to the office on time 🙂
and by the way … I have got to find the time to learn PS / Lightroom! I think I’m going to have to take a vacation just to spend time learning. Just in case you were wondering why I’ve only watermarked a couple photos.
You should call me on a Sunday when you have time, I could walk you through it in 5 minutes 🙂
Oh my. What a stunning photo. 🙂
Thank you Suz … it was a beautiful morning!
Oh thank you so much 🙂 I was so glad to be headed to work at the right time 🙂
Reminds me of all the Thomas Kinkade paintings I so love!!!!! You are gifted my friend!!!! Hugs…………….
Well you have just brought a big smile to my face!!
Well deserved!!!! Hugs…………………
I would frame the last one and hang it in my bedroom so it is the first thing I see when I wake up! xoxo
Aw Pauline, thank you so much!
and I’m looking forward to reading your upcoming post 🙂
I love sunrays like that.
Me too! and you would have laughed to have seen me – backing up the truck, jumping out, shooting the scene, thinking I’m done, and moving forward again, only to stop, back up the truck, and repeat! 🙂
I wish I had seen it, LOL
gorgeous rays 🙂
Mother Nature sure provides beautiful scenes for us to try to capture, doesn;t she?
I couldn’t agree more!
Thank you, Mae, and I hope you are still trying to squeeze in some quiet moments for yourself!! I believe you blogged about that a month or so ago. Spa time, right??? 🙂
Excellent reminder, LB. (But I think you have a different commute than me.) Have a great weekend,
Bruce, I am very lucky to have a short, pretty commute. It makes that whole “stop and smell the roses” thing easier for sure!
Ha ha, Bruce! I was thinking the same thing. When I do commute, it’s on the bus through city streets. But I think I can still take Laurie’s advice and stop, breathe, and look around me.
Yes, and I ordered it specifically for me! 🙂
Soooooo pretty! thanks for a lovely morning view!
You are most welcome, Lisa!
I don’t go out to work, and I’m almost never up that early. And yet, this morning I woke at 6:45 and couldn’t get back to sleep, so I checked my email and found this post, with these beautiful photos. It feels like you took me on the ride with you, Laurie. So thank you!
So glad you came along, Mary!! Very happy you enjoyed the photos
Beautiful! You know, I always have my camera with me but only once have I stopped on my way in to work to take some photos! I feel change coming on!
YAY!! Do it!!
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve showed up, ready to see patients, and had a little mud on the shoes or the pants 🙂
Stunning photos! Always a joy to come here.
Oh Deborah, thank you! What a lovely comment
Crepuscular rays, in case you were wondering. (I was a weather forecaster in my former life…)
I didn’t know! Excellent!!
What perfect timing! Love those magical rays you captured! simply beautiful!
I love the light! The light rays are awesome…
Beautiful pics, Inspires me to go on a ride. I can say that you live in a beautiful location 🙂
