Whether it's one simple yet somehow perfect day or a dreamed about journey finally realized, I never want to forget the joy of the moment or how fortunate I am!
The images look so much better on my computer than they do in the blog. I usually don’t notice that. The morning light in my mind is the best of all, though!
well a long 1600 km,I have arrived in Sydney (the big smoke) not a city person. Will set up exhibition tuesday and wednesday and leave Friday then travel another 1200 km to the sunshine coast. I can then relax for a short while before heading further north for a short while.
cheers Callie
I think it’s interesting that your photo just hints at the control we think we have on the land, but barely so. The mowed boarder and wire fence barely restrains the wild grass. Then there’s the weathered shed that could not hold back what time will take no matter what. Even the windmill in the background speaks to our attempt to harness the wind. If we all disappeared today, nature would take it all back so easily, we’re no match.
Isn’t the early morning light glorious LB ? Cool shots to document it.

The way you captured both the rustic fence and the old building together…marvelous.
Thanks Laurie! I caught the most beautiful webs, too … posting soon.
The rain (dew?) dripping off of everything is always a special view in the morning’s sunlight. Lovely!
Lynda, wait til you see the spider web shots … the dew drops look like jewels. Posting tomorrow!
I did notice there were a lot of them on the fence. I’m glad you took pictures of them too! Can’t wait to see them.
Lots of personal memories filled me up while looking at your early morning photos… I love how you capture the beauty of the ordinary.
