Whether it's one simple yet somehow perfect day or a dreamed about journey finally realized, I never want to forget the joy of the moment or how fortunate I am!
Having lived at a lake for 25 years, your gorgeous photo evokes so many great memories. I loved being on the lake late, when there’s hardly a ripple to be found and the birds are all settling in for the night. You’re so right, the hard days make the sun shine even brighter on the sunny days. Cheers.
No doubt that evenings on the water are special. I’m lucky to live just a few minutes from the river and can be ON the water and floating a mere 30 minutes after walking out my office door. Ah ….
Wow LB looks so peaceful, great shot.
It was lovely! AND we got off the river right before the thunder and lightning!
I love, love the words and photo!
Thanks Mae. Have you been kayaking? There are not many things like time on the water to restore peace of mind.

Oo! That looks like it could be so much fun. In a relaxing sort of way. 🙂
It completely is! Come join us!
I love that you think you are a fortunate woman…so many can’t see their blessings!
Most days I remember … some days … not so much 🙂
Beautiful sentiment and photograph!
Thanks so much!
Your blog feels like that of a lucky woman…full of blessings and awareness.
Now that is a lovely comment to read … thank you, Liana.
