One Stormy Day in May: From The Bridge

While we are all ready for sun and the warmth that it brings, the storm and clouds made for amazing skies.

The daily rain has caused the New River to run over it’s banks in some spots and we have been under flood watch here in SWVA.

As an aside, I was on the bridge for about 20 minutes and had more fun as friends would drive by, wave and honk, and later text or call to tell me that they saw me.

Ya gotta love small city life!

    • Thanks!! So far so good on the flooding. We had a bad time of it a couple months ago … not so this time. And hopefully the gardens and hay fields will flourish!

    • You are so right! Folks are tired of the rain, but the temps and the moisture have made everything beautiful. Thanks!

  3. For some reason I love stormy weather. Of course, when you’re safe. It’s the air I think. That river is really high isn’t it. I assume it’s raining at home, will do good to wash away some of the dust.

Because Boomdee dared me: Lay a little sugar on me :-)
