The snow has stopped and spring has truly arrived! It’s time for motorcycle rides, outdoor festivals, baseball games (that’s for you, Ralph), and Happy Hours out of doors. Okay, and yard work.
Bull & Bones at the River (http://www.bullandbones.com/?q=river) has a wonderful deck overlooking The New River and it’s a wonderful place to enjoy a glass of wine with friends at the end of a long day at work. And of course, the early evening light is perfect for photography.
That looks like a great place to sit and enjoy. I can hear the river from here!
I’m so lucky to live right along The New River … it takes but minutes to be walking, tubing or kayaking … or enjoying that wine
It truly was!
There’s a lot of white water in the river. Is it flowing high this spring? I bet it sounds great sitting there. I could listen to that all day long.
We are having a higher flow this spring, yes. Thankfully we had a wet spring, then we had the flood and of course that early April snowfall 🙂 I keep telling folks to not complain … maybe we won’t end up in drought conditions!
Love the sound of a rushing river (and waves, etc). Beautiful photos!
Thanks, and I’m with you! Any body of water makes me happy … even a big ol puddle!
