Whether it's one simple yet somehow perfect day or a dreamed about journey finally realized, I never want to forget the joy of the moment or how fortunate I am!
Yes, thankfully. I took a walk the next morning and captured the silhouette of a tree in the fog (which will be my post on Monochromia this week, and it’s also on my personal blog as an Instagram image). What’s really important is the exercise. I’ve been lax since the campaign ended, and I’m trying to get back into it.
I know I try to walk every day also. Thats why I love going to Manhattan and meeting up with Stacy or Patti, we walk like 30,000 steps. I have an app (free of course) called My Fitness Pal that tracks what you eat (calorie wise) and tracks your steps and deducts the calories from your totals for the day. You should check it out.
Not surprised, such a gorgeous soft sunrise. And a great shot!
And keep you coming back for more.

Morning 😄 I can’t blame you. That’s quite the view.
Morning walks in my little town are pretty scenic much of the time, thankfully!
Mornings, walks and soft light – perfection!! Have a great day xoxo
Thank you, Pauline! It’s crazy weather here: 18 degrees C in December!
I always do my walking in the mornings – to me it’s the perfect and quiet time (also the sun isn’t melting me into a puddle)
Exactly! The morning after this one, I walked in a light fog and it was lovely!
Beautiful view for a morning walk Laurie 🙂
And the morning after this was foggy; the day that I took that tree silhouette. Trying to get in shape!

Thanks Patti. Mother Nature was good to her this morning. Although the next morning was foggy and just as beautiful.
You find some of the most beautifully shaped trees! This is a gorgeous view, what a way to start the morning.
The shape really is great, isn’t it? Trees in silhouette are so beautiful
They are! I haven’t perfected the “silhouette” photograph like you have, still learning 🙂
Okay, winter can be beautiful! Yes!
Yes! I’m a big fan 🙂
AND it’s warm out, right?!
Yes, 65 degrees and I’m probably the only one not happy about it. How am I going to see a White Christmas???
Oh, sweetie–you’re not going to have a white Christmas and neither am I, 800 miles north of you!
Sniff, sniff … tissue please
Gorgeous, a good view to start the day with! xo Johanna
A brisk walk, a beautiful view … it was indeed a great way to start the day
I can’t stand exercise…smile. But with views like this…it makes it a little easier.
Laurie, you sound just like me Mom. She doesn’t like it either, but walks daily at 83 yrs! It allows her to enjoy food and drink 🙂
Gorgeous sunrise! What a wonderful view during your morning walk!
Absolutely beautiful!
