beautiful
Thank you for visiting Life on the Bike AND Monochromia!
Nice and sharp 🙂
This is one of those lucky shots. Shoot, convert to B&W, and that’s it.
Fun!
can’t beat a bit of straight forward eh?
Beautiful and real and surreal … all at the same time. Love it!
I’m struck by the texture of the flower when shown in black and white. Super cool, LB, and so are you.
I’ve got to say I was really tickled with how this one turned out.
And with minimal effort on my part. Thanks Alys!
If the effort was minimal, it’s because you have great skill. xox
The sense of texture and the shades of grey are amazing. Well done.
Thank you so much, Frank. I kind of can’t believe how well this turned out. As my friend Gary says “right time, right place”!
Look at all that texture and light! Wow.
Thank you, Lisa. This one made me so happy! (especially because the deer never let any Lilly live long in my yard)
‘Tis please to me….hehe, that makes me snicker just because.
My fairest candidate, where dous thou find such beauty if not in thine own eyes. Be still my heart, for thine own garden knowest not this flower of such glorious-ness (that last one probably isn’t a real word, HA)
Well now, speaketh in 15th century lingo is tiresome but I really love you shot. The veins and frilly petals really stand out in B&W. xo k
I’m SO glad you said something about the silly title! It maketh me happy that thou found humour in it 🙂
I have not been getting notifications of your posts. I’ve missed so many! I want to go see what’s wrong.
Thanks for visiting this, and other recent posts, Marlene! I, too, have found that notifications with WP sometimes go missing. I’m just glad you found this one 🙂
Me too. 🙂
Tis pleasing me, also, fair maid.
A sumptuous and sharp mono…..
Just layin a little sugar, honey….
Ha!
That sure made me smile!
ooh, the Smithie got the right word: sumptuous. This is freakin’ fabulous – like your fab blog. It’s hard to decide if I like the colour version better than the B&W. As black and whites go, this one rocks. Still…that colour…as I said…is rich enough to taste. I’ll have to get back to you on which I like best.
I’m so glad you like this one (and the color one, too!). This was one of those lucky shots!! Right time, right place!
