Whether it's one simple yet somehow perfect day or a dreamed about journey finally realized, I never want to forget the joy of the moment or how fortunate I am!
I enjoyed voting more this year because my 17-year-old did it with me. We read measures out loud together, and read the “for” and “against” arguments in the voter book. Tara told me what the discussions had been at school. The final vote was mine, of course, but I was particularly informed by having a second person give me second perspectives.
I love that you did that! and even more, that Tara had been discussing the issues at school.
Andrew and I went to the polls together every election day, from baby to adult. Now that he has moved away to another city, I can only hope that the experience will keep him voting for a long time! Hopefully Tara will also have that same commitment
Anyway Laurie! Both players are sponsored by the same bankers! 😉 I suggest to go there and cancel your vote! 😀 Have a good day!
You are so right, Meho!
… and this is not USA bashing Laurie, this is the same here. Have a good day! 🙂
nice photo 🙂
Thanks Joshi – a quick spontaneous shot right outside the voting precinct!
Atta’ girl!!
yes! I “trudged my way to the ballot booth” and I believe I voted like you 🙂
2-0.
Done! Now I wait…
And … how did things turn out for you?
😦

I voted too! Not thrilled with the outcomes, but it never stops me. Glad you voted, Laurie.
Oh me neither, Alys. Ugh … at least my Senator seems to have it locked up, even though it was close. We have GOT to get more people out and voting!!
Yes, and more young people, too. They apparently don’t tend to vote in mid term elections. I found that interesting.
Politics, schmolitics, it all seems to end the same..
So frustrating!!!
Not really, democracy is an illusion.. But no! I will not speak of politics here 🙂
You clever girl you! Putting a vote sticker in the fall leaves….sigh☺♥
Thanks Laurie … and you’d be proud. No post processing! How’s that for lucky 🙂
