Ornamental December 28, 2013 by LB You were expecting something hanging from a tree? Nope! Just an Ornamental Cabbage … taken on the fly in Charleston. So what does this have to do with Motorcycles? It’s time to start thinking about my next one! Love the colours in this picture.
Thanks … isn’t it a beautiful plant? I love the bright pink veins! and thanks for visiting and commenting. I’ll check out your blog in a bit 🙂
This is a really damn good shot for being taken on the run Laurie 😀 It’s weird I made a post named Ornamental about 2 days ago. Oh No you are now entering the Twilight Zone na na na na, na na na na 😀
I remembered that you did and so did Liana (I think it was Liana anyway). When I realized that this was an ornamental cabbage I knew I had to use the same name!!
And your thoughts are………………………………..
I think I’m going to get another Softail Slim. The one that was totaled was built just for me and I loved the fit and the way it rode. I’ll keep you posted though 🙂
“… built just for me …”
You can do that? AWESOMESAUCE!!!
Can’t wait to see what you do.
Personal note: I hate to shop EXCEPT for 2-wheeled fossil fuel burning chromed out(sometimes, or not!), leather draped fun people carriers!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL!!!!!!! Hugs…….
love the colors of the ornamental cabbage! Yay on the thinking, that is awesome!!!
Thanks Heather … I’ll keep you posted on the bike!
If that was taken on the run, what hope is there for me? You make a cabbage look so pretty!! Glad to hear your thoughts turn bike-wards again, 2014 will find you once more in the saddle, riding freely and me wishing I could be like you when I grow up 🙂
Ooops, I forgot to mention – I love the ‘bright pink veins’ 🙂
Oh you just made me hoot with happiness!! 🙂
Love the colors in this photo. Have fun in Charleston!
It was a short but very nice visit (I had to be back at work on Friday). Charleston is such a beautiful place!
Nice shot, so the next bike is green and red.. 😀
Thanks! Can you imagine a perpetual Christmas color bike?
And, why not?
Love the photo! Have fun picking out your new bike!!
Thanks!! The process will be fun … but I’m sure I’ll have a teeny bit of anxiety, too ,,,
I can’t believe that’s growing in America right now. By what I see on the news, it’s snowing almost everywhere, LOL. Lucky you to be visiting where the suns shining. Oh actually knowing you, it followed you there 😀
I’ve always thought these cabbages look a little spooky. Like, if an little green alien wanted to hide in plain site, this is what they’d look like, LOL. I’d give it a wide berth, so it wouldn’t reach out and grab me on the way by, I think it’s all them red veins. BTW, I’m totally sober right now, ha!
It’s excited to hear you’re thinking about your new wheels. With summer coming, you’ll want to do some trips to see that big beautiful country of yours. Canada’s nice in the summer too, hint! 😀
I totally want to ride in Canada! I’ll even add some aqua to my helmet when I come!
(And yes … those veins are funky aren’t they?)
After so much eating and drinking a plant-based diet is not a bad thing. 🙂
My warmest greetings and best wishes for a happy new year.
No kidding … I am stuffed as I write! Time for me to get out and get some exercise.
Happy, happy to you as well, Marcelo!
I like that! LB
