Just a few … Charleston May 26, 2013 by LB What a joy to be in Charleston in the spring! Temperatures in the 70s, and the smell of Jasmine everywhere. Wow, look at that wall of jasmine!
I know! It’s everywhere … and smells divine!
Love that second shot!
I think that might be my favorite as well. Something about that morning light. Thanks!
I just love it here….and as a transplanted northerner I am still amazed that I live somewhere with PALM trees!
Truly a beautiful city / part of South Carolina! And you can still head north for that “snow fix” 🙂
The architecture, the food, the culture, the stories. The coast of SC is a very special place. I’d forgotten how lovely it all is. Thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome and I agree with you about the stories and the culture. Fascinating and so different from Southwest Virginia / Appalachia where I currently live.
A wonderful town with charms that are hard to resist. More that Jasmine’s fragrance fills the air.
If it weren’t for the heat of the summer, I do believe I could move there … although I would surely miss the mountains!
I’ve always wanted to visit there. How fantastic to smell that Jasmine, one of my favourites. We can’t grow it outdoors here :_(
It was amazing … riding the bicycle made the opportunity to enjoy the scent even more. It was not only fragrant but so lush and EVERYWHERE!
