Not a day goes by that I don’t think about Life on the Bike and getting back into my blogging groove. I’m 6 months behind on posting photos from various adventures.
Las Vegas, Nevada
Cape Charles, Virginia
Tallahassee, Florida
Knoxville, Tennessee
various Virginia State Parks
and Cincinnati, Ohio
I’ve worked alot, and volunteered alot.
Thankfully, I’ve played, alot, too. I’ve traveled for fun and I’ve traveled for work.
I’ve worked on political campaigns and hosted non-political fundraisers.
I’ve riden the bike (not enough!) and managed to keep up with photography (again, not enough!).
And finally, I’ve missed WP and my blogging friends.
Slowly but surely, I’m finding my way back to my WordPress home!
Splendid photography
Thank you, Derrick. Just visited your blog for the first time in months, and your photos are great, too
Thanks very much, Laurie
Beautiful pic’s. That one of the trees turning on the water’s edge touches me. Welcome back!
Lisa, that image has been loved by everyone. It was such a beautiful sight to stumble upon and I feel fortunate to have captured it.
It’s really something. I can’t imagine what it was like to look over there and see it.
Gorgeous photos LB. I too, have been rather absent in writing these days. Life happens my friend, always love to see you here, regardless of how long it’s been!
Thank you for your comment, Lynn. I’m happy to be home today and catching up!
Sure beats spending your life sitting on the couch…. 😉
Good for you, LB….wonderful photos, too!
So true! I typically do not sit on the couch. Today though? As we begin to dig out from a big snow (happiness!), my office is closed, and I am visiting friends virtually.
I know you don’t, LB…that’s why I said/wrote it that way! 🙂
Enjoy your snow-day off work….
Missed your posts and fantastic flare for capturing “life” 👍
Thank you for those kind words! How have you been? It looks like it’s been awhile since you’ve posted, too. Is all okay?
that last photo is my favourite
It was such a lovely sight to see while walking through the woods that day.
It’s good to know you’ve been taking your camera with you on all those trips. I miss you, but understand your absence. Hugs.
So glad to see your comment, and to visit your blog. Happiness to you, Crystal!
Much love backatcha’ Laurie. ❤
Gorgeous photos, Laurie! I’m glad you had fun outside of work these past six months. I know you miss blogging, but life itself, and enjoying it, is most important. Happy holidays!
Hi Mary! Life has been full, for sure. Today, because of a big snow, I have the gift of an unexpected day to visit blogs! What a treat! Plus, I am warm and cozy inside with 14 inches of snow outside!
14″ of snow? Wow, VA has Wisconsin beat in snow accumulation. Enjoy your day at home!
Hello my gorgeous friend! How awesome has your year been?! I feel so blessed to have been part of the action ❤ Loving all your photo's! ox K
Oh how I miss you!! We need to find time to catch up! ❤
Sounds like you’ve been having lots of wonderful adventures in your absence from here. All the more to blog about when the time is right. We’ll be waiting.
It is such a small world. My friend Crystal got here before me and she is like you, always looking at things through a photographic eye. Those are some good shots of places you have been in the last 6 months. No wonder you had little time for blogging. I’ve been mostly at home and still not caught up. Even Boomdee is on overwhelm. Maybe next year will be slower. 😉 Ha!
That photo of the trail through the rock!! LOVE!! I want to BE on that trail!
love the last tree photo! beautiful colors
