As I noted in the previous post, I captured a few different pictures yesterday. Back at home and in the process of editing, I realized that these four photos had a similar theme and needed to be posted separately.
Older structures but still very much in use!
I always see fantastic stuff at crafters markets made from salvaged woods, so many possibilities.
see … I recognize the beauty but have no idea what to do with those salvaged woods! I’ll be you’d make some great things with them!
Oh, saddly not me either…I love to learn how to use some tools though. “Hammer Like A Girl”, here on WP does awesome projects with salvage stuff. You might find inspiration there.
Love love love them 🙂 I feel haunted by the age and unspoken history of these images.
Me too! Thanks. AND after showing the one of the red barn to the owner, I got invited to walk on the property to photography more closely (I was hanging over the edge of a fence). yay!
That’s so great, I have been meaning (for about 20yrs!) to have a look at an old Carriage Inn that I pass each time I travel north! Fitty and I stopped on our way to Sydney and they have totally blocked it off from public now. Electric fence and all, when I think of all the times I could have stopped over the years……uuurrgh!
This old red barn makes my heart pitter patter…would of had a hard time leaving it☺
I’ve watched it for months … can’t wait to go back for more pictures!
I love that barn door. Great eye.
I look forward to going back this spring (now that I have permission to access the property!)
A fine eye you have not just for old and interesting but also for composition…..a very nice set.
Well now, you just made my evening … truly! Thank you!
