A three day trip to Atlanta to see my son, with a brief stop in Greenville, SC, yielded many photos and wonderful memories.
This image is of a pre-civil war era building in Greenville. Only the shell remains and it is used as an event space.
I’ll be back to tell you about it soon, and to catch up on all of your adventures.
I really like it when the old is integrated into the new. Even preserving a single wall or a shell is preferable to completely destroying all that remained.
I agree! I emailed the visitors center in an effort to learn the history of the building. Can’t wait to share more photos of it.
Hope it was a wonderful visit.
oh my gosh, it was so great to spend time with Andrew, his friends, to see where he works and plays. Cannot wait to go back!
Have a safe trip & a wonderful visit!
Lynn, it was such a blast! I cannot wait to go back … already 🙂
Beautiful sunshine shot Laurie, good to know you had such a great time!
Atlanta is a fun city, for sure. So many neat little neighborhoods with wonderful pubs and restaurants. I already want to go back 🙂
GREAT photo!
Thanks, Marlene! I have so many photos to work through … it was a great trip!

Brick walls and arches make me go weak at the knees. Fabulous photo. I love how you let us know you’re around and will be back soon. Nice!
